Gurbani Soul has no advertising, sells no data and has no paid tier. The scripture will never be behind a paywall. Contributions pay for the work that keeps the text exact and the app available: hosting, scholarly review, licensing and the yearly developer fees.

Payments are handled on Stripe's secure checkout page; we never see your card details. Prices are in Australian dollars; your bank may convert them.

Hosting for the website, search and the Knowledge Base.
Scholarly review of the text and of how it is presented.
Licensing, including a licence for an English translation layer, and typefaces.
Fees: the Apple Developer Program and the domain.

Questions

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

No. Gurbani Soul is built by Algorythmos Pty Ltd (ABN 22 701 006 626), an Australian company, not a registered charity. A contribution is a payment to the company to support the project, not a charitable gift.

Does contributing unlock anything?

No. Everything stays free for everyone, whether or not they contribute.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Email support@gurbanisoul.com within 30 days and we will refund it in full.

How do I stop a monthly contribution?

Any time, yourself, from the Stripe customer portal (sign in with the email on your receipt), or email us.

What do you keep about me?

Stripe processes the payment and keeps the details it needs, under its own privacy policy. We see your name, email, the amount and the date, use them only for receipts, refunds and our accounts, and never share them. See the Privacy Policy.
